• Store URL – Required to connect and provide services to your Shopify store.

Temporary Data Processing:

• Product details, inventory levels, and order information.
• Customer information (e.g., order history, cart details) required for upsell recommendations and order discounts.
• Customer data collected from pop-ups or announcement bars (e.g., name, email, phone number).

Note: All data is processed directly within your Shopify store. We do not store customer data on external servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and enhance Upsell Kit functionality.
• To offer customer support and resolve technical issues.
• To ensure app performance and security.

We do not use your data for marketing purposes or share it with third parties unless required by law.

3. Data Storage & Retention

• Merchant Information (store URL & email) is retained only as long as needed for app functionality and support.
• All processed data (including metafields) is automatically deleted when you uninstall Upsell Kit.
• You may request manual deletion of merchant information by contacting support@upsellkit.app.

4. Data Transfers

Upsell Kit does not transfer data outside Shopify’s secure environment. All data processing occurs within Shopify’s GDPR-compliant infrastructure.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We do not use cookies or third-party tracking technologies that require customer consent under the ePrivacy Directive. All data processing happens within Shopify for app functionality only.
